Personal Protection Tip: With the advent of the Internet, there has been an explosion in the number of persons doing business out of their homes. However, as a practical matter, you should avoid meeting strangers at either their home or your residence to transact business. A mutually neutral location, such as a coffee house or cafe with a wi-fi setup, should be selected as an initial meeting place. Later, as the business relationship matures other less public options can be pursued in the future.
