Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip: Maintain Healthy Personal Relationships

Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip: If keeping your CPL is important to you, maintaining healthy relationships will others will be key. If you are currently involved with someone and the romance is rocky, you should make an effort to smooth it out or end it.

The quickest way to lose your CPL is to be merely accused of domestic violence and/or have a Personal Protection Order (PPO) levied against you without an opportunity to a hearing before-hand. Not making light of legitimate violent behaviors that need to be addressed by the criminal justice system, however, many people have unjustly lost their concealed carry privileges because of a lie told by a vindictive ex-lover.

Thus, as I have taught my students over the years, carrying a firearm is truly an alternative lifestyle that will affect every other facet of your life. Accordingly, great care needs to be taken with the selection of a person to romantically enter your life.
