Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip: Book Hotel Rooms With A Safe

Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip:

When traveling with your concealed firearm, be sure to book a room for your lodging that has a safe. There may be a time when you wish to visit a Pistol-FREE Zone and do not have a safe place to temporarily stash your handgun.

I would strongly urge that a CPL-holder does NOT leave their firearm in their hotel room. I am not necessarily taking a "pot-shot" at cleaning room staff but I advocate against providing a temptation. The last thing you want to deal with on a trip is reporting a stolen firearm.
