Personal Protection Tip: Always Leave Yourself "An Out"

Personal Protection Tip: When on the road and stopped at a traffic signal or stop sign, always leave yourself "an out" just in case you need to quickly leave the scene. For example, leave at least enough room between your car and the car in front of you so that you can see the other car's full rear tires.

In addition, when parking your vehicle in a lot make sure it is positioned so that upon your later exit you can quickly pull out with full visibility and not need to slowly back out of a parking space with impaired vision of approaching obstacles. Furthermore, also avoid fast-food drive-through lanes with those concrete barriers that prevent vehicles from leaving the line.
