Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip: How Much Stuff Are You Lugging Around Every Day (EDC)?

Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip: The Michigan Concealed Carry statutes are silent about the quantity of hidden firearms a licensee can carry at one time. Accordingly, it is not rare for many CPL-holders to carry more than one hidden firearm.

Obviously, having more than one handgun may allow a person to engage more than one target, have a backup if one fails, have access to more ammunition, and may eliminate a need to reload. One downside of carrying more than one pistol is that all of them may be taken into evidence if a person is ever forced to defend himself.

In any case, a CPL-holder should make an effort to evaluate his Every Day Carry (EDC) and determine how much stuff he is lugging around every day. Do you really need to be loaded down with all of that stuff? Reduce, simplify, and stay safe.
