Rick Ector Takes On Michigan's Handgun Purchase Permits and Registration on the Charlie Langton Show

Earlier today, I made a live in-studio appearance on WXYT 1270's "Charlie Langton Show."

On the program, we discussed Michigan's current laws which require handgun purchase permits and handgun registration. Today's topic was obviously inspired by recent developments in our state capital of Lansing whereby the Michigan House recently passed HB-5225, which will abolish the aforementioned practices of handgun permits and registration. The measure is now awaiting approval by the Michigan Senate.

My debate opponent was Southfield Mayor Brenda Lawrence.
