Personal Protection Tips: Don't Drop Your Guard In Friendly Environs

Personal Protection Tips: Don't Drop Your Guard In Friendly Environs - There is a natural tendency to exhale and relax when we make it home from a long day of being "out and about." Can you imagine how shocking it must have been for an ex-Detroit Police Department Chief to have been assaulted during broad daylight while mowing the front lawn of his own home? He was so relaxed and at-ease that he wasn't carrying his pistol. Why? Because he was at home.

Thusly, be encouraged to enjoy being home but do not become so completely relaxed that you "drop your guard" and become a crime victim at your residence.
