Personal Protection Tip: Don't Wear Gear That Limits Your Vision

Personal Protection Tip: Don't Wear Gear That Limits Your Vision - A key tenet of personal protection is to always be aware of your environment for potential hazards to your safety.

As such, wearing a "hoodie" may compromise your ability to see looming threats, as your field of vision will be limited. A person wearing a hoodie will have his peripheral vision extremely limited.

Thus, if you wish to stay warm and safe in cold weather, opt to wear a cap and a scarf to preserve your full normal range of vision.
