Detroit, MI -- Michigan CCW Class Instructor Organizes FREE Personal Protection Seminars For Detroit-Area Community.

On Saturday, August 11th 2012 NRA credentialed Firearms Trainer Rick Ector organized a day of FREE seminars to empower citizens with personal protection info to keep them safe during these trying and perilous times.

Participants were educated by a variety of presenters who are subject matter experts in their field of expertise: Ms. Kalyn Risker (S.A.F.E.), Mr. Robert Louis Robinson II (It Takes A Village Ya'll), Officer Lawrence Smith (Detroit Police Department), Mr. Dan Sikorsky (Michigan TASER Distributing), Mr. Phillip Hofmeister (Michigan Open Carry), and Mr. Rick Ector (Legally Armed In Detroit).

One of the more "electrifying" presentations was a live demo of a TASER being deployed at a dummy. (See below)

Officer Smith of the Detroit Police Department delivers a presentation on Personal Safety Tips:

In all, it was a great day for Personal Protection in metro-Detroit as well over 100 citizens were given FREE training to increase their odds of NOT being violently attacked. I look forward to doing another program like this soon.
