Personal Protection Tip - Be Met By Friends and Loved Ones Upon Arrival
When returning home or making an arrival to another residence, phone a few moments ahead to let your friends and loved ones know when you will be arriving. This will give them an opportunity to ensure that you make it safely from the driveway to the front door.

Otherwise, opportunistic bad guys could seize upon the chance to mount a surprise attack against a solitary victim. Alternatively, create a circumstance by which your loved ones can at least open the front door to watch you. They could even go so far as to greet you at your car to help you carry any packages that could additionally delay your arrival to the porch.

While this is not fail-proof tactic, there is generally greater safety in in the presence of additional people.
