Rick Ector Appeared on the Steve Gruber Show to Discuss "Swatting" of Firearm Carriers

Rick Ector To Appear On "Cam and Company" To Discuss Open Carry "Swatting"

Earlier today, I appeared as a guest on the "Steve Gruber Show" to discuss a recently published story over at Fox News.

The aforementioned article was about Gun Control advocates who encourage "swatting" people who open carry handgun.

Allegedly, the practice of calling law enforcement officers - whenever someone publicly displays a handgun in a holster - will have the effect of discouraging people from carrying a firearm. More importantly, it misdirects law enforcement officers to non-crimes and may cause them to not be able to a "real" situation in an expeditious manner. Operators should be better trained and people filing false police reports should be prosecuted to fullest extent possible under the law.

For the record, as a Gun Rights advocate, I could care less how a citizen carries a firearm as long he does so legally, safely, and responsibly.
