Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip: Stay Abreast Of Changes In The Law

Michigan Concealed Pistol License Tip:

A huge responsibility of being a CPL-holder is staying abreast of the changes in the law. The laws change frequently and you should be knowledgeable of all of those changes. Ignorance of the law is not a valid excuse. Violations are severely punished with jail time and/or expensive fines.

For example, recently a local man found himself facing charges because he fired his handgun several times into his front yard. He honestly believes that he didn't do anything wrong. To stay current, have a regular consultation with a credible attorney and give serious thought to joining a gun rights organization, such as the NRA or a local state-level gun rights organization.
