Personal Protection Tip: Start A Neighborhood Watch Program

Personal Protection Tip: A great way to increase safety in your local community is to either join or start a Neighborhood Watch Organization. These community based groups are comprised of local residents and businesses who have agreed to watch for and to report suspicious and criminal activities to the local law enforcement agencies.

To be successful, there needs to be both "buy-in" by the residents who refuse to engage in "no-snitch" practices and a responsive police force that can quickly respond to suspected crimes.
