LAID Celebrates Black History Month: Harriet Tubman

LAID Celebrates Black History Month: Harriet Tubman

Rick's Firearm Academy of Detroit salutes Black History Month by honoring patriots who fought for freedom. Today's honoree is Harriet Tubman - She is the brave armed heroine who shepherded over 1,000 slaves to freedom via the Underground Railroad.

Of her accomplishment, she replied that she could have freed an additional thousand people from bondage but they (the slaves) didn't know that they weren't free.

Most historical references to Tubman in textbooks all across the country have been sanitized to not mention that she carried a rifle during her dangerous missions.

Harriet Tubman was a true patriot and today we salute his legacy.

If you don't like guns, you probably don't know your history. Yep, I said it.
