Detroit Michigan CCW Classes Instructor Issues A Call To Arms After Convict Escapes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Detroit, Michigan – Jan. 5, 2011 – Rick Ector, a National Rifle Association (NRA) Credentialed Firearms Trainer based in Detroit Michigan, is calling upon fellow law-abiding residents to arm themselves after a convict escapes.

As a consequence of a man, convicted of several violent offenses who escaped from Sheriff's deputies yesterday against incredible odds, Rick Ector is calling upon area residents to arm themselves. According to Ector, the escape of Willie B. Brown while being shackled during a hospital visit is a fiasco.

Ector further added, "It is not the job of the police to protect you. That is your job. Besides, law enforcement can't even protect you from shackled convicts who are being actively being supervised during a hospital visit. The strategy of law enforcement is to keep you dependent on them, however badly they do their job, and to buy your guns."

Rick Ector is a National Rifle Association credentialed Firearms Trainer, who provides Michigan CCW Class training in Detroit for students at his firearms school - Rick's Firearm Academy of Detroit. Ector is a recognized expert in firearm safety and has been featured extensively in the national and local media: Associated Press, UPI, NRAnews, Guns Digest, Tactical-Life, The Truth About Guns, The Politics Daily, Fox News Detroit, The Detroit News, The Detroit Examiner, WJLB, WGPR, and the UrbanShooterPodcast.
