Michigan Personal Protection Tip: Don't Watch Television At The Gas Station

Michigan Personal Protection Tips: Don't Watch Television At The Gas Station.

Don't Watch Television At Gas Stations. Gas stations are very dangerous places to be in our community. As such, when dispensing gas into your vehicle's tank, the very last thing you should be doing is watching the television screen for non essential info: weather forecast, gas station specials, sports scores, and etc.

Instead, your undivided attention should be devoted to assessing your immediate environment towards identifying potential threats to your safety. Gas stations are target rich places in which unaware patrons are often selected for robberies and abductions.
