Rick Ector Debates Gun Control in Huffington Post Moderated Panel Debate

Earlier today I made an appearance on a "Huffington Post Live" moderated panel discussing Gun Control related issues. The original premise of the discussion concerned itself with the timing of an alleged NRA licensed firearm training simulator/game built for the cell phone console. Some people across the country raised their eyebrows at the release date - about a month since the mass shooting incident in the Sandy Hook Elementary School in CT.

During the show we actually discussed whether it was untimely for the video to be released at this time as well as a host other ancillary and related issues: whether video games incite violence, whether mental health be given higher visibility in the gun control debate, and whether other methods such as arming school employees can work.

The video is embedded below. Please view the debate and leave comments on this page.
