2011 "Fed Up With Violent Crime" CCW Class Discount Tuition Offer - 1 for $124.99 - Sunday Nov. 13th

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Detroit, Michigan - November 9th, 2011 - Local Firearms Instructor offers a special promotion in response to the Detroit Police Department's Third Quarter Crime statistics.

Rick Ector, owner of Rick's Firearm Academy of Detroit, is fed up with violent crime in the city of Detroit. Instead of just talking about it, he is doing something about it. He has just announced a second promotion on his upcoming CCW/CPL Class for this Sunday, November 13th. As such, any person can register for the class for only $124.99. This tuition cost has been discounted 28.5% of the regular late registration rate.

According to the local police department, the following crime tallies were recorded in Detroit through the first nine (9) months of this year:
  • 301 murders/homicides this year (252 last year)
  • 845 rapes were recorded this year (901 last year)
  • 26,557 assaults were recorded this year (23,787 last year)
  • 14,457 burglaries were recorded this year (16,204 last year)

Ector feels that the time has come for citizens to arm themselves and take complete control of their safety. He stated, "With the budgetary constraints that the city is under, it is unreasonable for anyone to believe that the crime rate will go down. In fact, I predict that it will spike very soon due to the Daylight Savings Time change, almost 40,000 folks have been tossed off the state's cash assistance program, and the holiday robbing season will start the day after Thanksgiving."

Rick Ector is a National Rifle Association credentialed Firearms Trainer, who provides Michigan CCW Class training in Detroit for students at his firearms school - Rick's Firearm Academy of Detroit.

Ector is a recognized expert in firearm safety and has been featured extensively in the national and local media: Associated Press (AP), UPI, NRAnews, Gun Digest, The Politics Daily, Fox News Detroit, WDIV News, WXYZ News, The Detroit News, "Let It Rip Show," "Mason in the Morning Show," and others.
